I have had very little dance experience, and my fiance had had years of mostly solo dance work. It took some time, but Karen was able to effectively teach me to lead, and my fiance to follow. In the end, I didn’t learn a preset dance with moves that must come in a specific sequence. Instead, I developed a command of the moves that allowed me to select them at will. I was able to improvise, choosing the correct move for where we were in the song and on the dance floor. I credit Karen with all of this.
